150 - 205mm (5.9 - 8.1in)

Acrylic Crystal
A lightweight plastic polymer with excellent impact resistance and a warm vintage appearance that can be easily polished to remove scuffs.
Acrylic Crystal
Highly impact-resistant
Acrylic lens are a specialised form of plastic akin to Plexiglass and were commonly used in early to mid-20th century watches. It is a softer material that can be more prone to scratches but conversely is very shatter-resistant. Given its softness any scratches though can be buffed out. Acrylic lens are synonymous with vintage-inspired timepieces and thus can be found on our Marlin and Q Timex collections.

"I have a lot of watches, but my collection was not complete until I got this. I was in high school and college in the 80s. This useful timepiece looks as great now as the old ones did them. The steel case is the reason I chose this above all other digital, and the Indiglo is better than any other illumination (even on my "luxury" watches!) Perfect watch."

Huge fan of this piece.
"Huge fan of this piece. An old school look that, to me, is timeless. Very functional with the alarm and chronograph. Wear it almost every day. Cannot recommend this piece enough"
— Mario A. (5/5)

"I wanted one when I was a kid but couldn’t afford it. I was amazed that you have rereleased the T80 all these years later, and now I was able to get one. Thank you."
— Ty V. (5/5)

"It's a great watch. The only thing I miss is the band I had on the previous watch. The previous band was one piece where I can just close it. This new one is two pieces, and you have to put it on like a bracelet and clasp two small pieces together. It's a bit difficult."
— Richard R. (4/5)

"The watch itself is very nice. The band clip is sometimes hard to use."

"Was great until I felt compelled on a return due to overextending myself given the social environment being in."

Great Surprise is the Accuracy
"Great Surprise is the Accuracy from the "Movement-China." I synchronized it with NIST Atomic Clock. And 22 days later there is zero deviation! Hopefully the watch and the accuracy will last a minimum of 50 years. I can find no information about the accuracy being the exception or the rule. Watch case is excellent brushed stainless steel. The Day display is far too small, and it should be on the same row with The Date. Instead there is a blank space to the left of The Date. It is for the alarm which I will never use. The format of the bracelet is perfect, but it needs refinement, as it pulls hairs, the small interior links are overly intricate, and it is not as flexible as the same kind of bracelet I have from the 1980's. I only found one youtube video on this watch. I'm suprised there is so little T80 discussion online."
— MICHAEL H. (5/5)
I'm in love this this
"I'm in love this this retro look and feel. The buttons are intuitive. This looks and feels good. Only missing a Timer."
— Joe F. (5/5)
Q&A
Is the green hue the result of a film placed behind the screen? Is this something I could remove, even if it voids the warranty?
Hi Andrew! We appreciate your curiosity! The green hue on the Timex T80 Steel 36mm Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch is actually part of the watch face design itself, not a removable film. It’s a permanent aesthetic choice that gives the watch its retro charm—so no, it can’t be removed, even if you were willing to void the warranty.
how much does the T80 Steel weigh?
Hi Fred, The Timex T80 Steel 36mm Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch weighs approximately 72 grams. If there's anything else I can assist you with, don't hesitate to let me know.
