Inspired by the white-sanded strip of Californian paradise, our Q Timex Malibu collection welcomes three dreamy new additions to its already stunning lineup. This collection is packed with vintage appeal, from its soothing pastel color scheme to the quintessential, heritage attributes of our Q Timex 1979 Reissue. A rotating bezel, functional battery hatch, and retro domed acrylic crystal capture the original's inherent charm, and like most quartz watches we've launched in the last fifty years, the Q Timex branding at 12 o'clock proudly indicates the quartz movement ticking inside.

Precise, accessible, and downright gorgeous; these are the mainstays of the Timex collection that led us into a future of batteries, capacitors, ticking seconds hands, and digital displays. And as you'll find with the Q Timex Malibu, our modern-day quartz watches are as remarkable today as the originals were back then. Now, let's talk aesthetics. Our approach to the line's latest additions is a far cry from the tired "shrink it and pink it" attitude much of the watch world exhibits when tasked with dressing a woman's wrist. That said, you can't blame us for channeling its namesake's cotton-candy-colored skies, right? Radiating with tranquility in shades of pink, blue, and sea-glass-green, Malibu's slim, comfortable 36mm stainless-steel case and bracelet are a breath of fresh air- no matter how far you live from the coast. And as if these beauties weren't wearable enough, a 50-meter water resistance rating is designed to seamlessly take you from surf to street. The watches' case and expansion band complement each other beautifully, with the bands' alternating links mimicking the same pastel hues found throughout the dial and bezel. Thanks to our Perfect Fit technology, adjusting the expansion band is impressively easy, creating a timepiece that will never demand a trip to the jeweler for a fit adjustment. Here's how to do it if you need a refresher:

  1. Place the watch on your wrist and estimate how many links will need to be removed from your watch band.
  2. Locate the links in the center of the bracelet with the texture. Squeeze the textured part of the link opposite the link you want to remove.
  3. Pull the band apart while still pressing down on the link.
  4. Count the links you need removed, and follow the same process to remove the appropriate section of links.
  5. Squeeze down again on the textured part of the link and insert the opposite end of the band into the opening.

On the whole, the Q Timex Malibu collection offers ageless style and versatility, but this tranquil take on its vintage-inspired construction delivers a welcome throwback- one that embodies a look and feel you'll love long after your tan lines fade.
