Timeless, Tailored, and Ready for Takeoff
The Waterbury Ace reimagines the traditional pilot’s watch through a distinctly Timex lens. Built around a robust stainless-steel case, it balances durability with refined design, delivering a confident presence on the wrist without unnecessary complexity.
Its clean, high-contrast dial is designed for quick readability, while a streamlined second hand replaces the signature Waterbury “W” detail, allowing the watch’s military-inspired character to take center stage. And on the hands and markers, luminant in-fill enhances visibility when the lights go down. Like a well-worn leather bomber jacket or a trusted canvas duffle, the Waterbury Ace is made to accompany years of daily wear. Timeless in design and resilient by nature, it’s built for the long haul.

This dynamic update to the collection offers all the same character of a classic pilot’s watch, but with the fast functionality of our proprietary Intelligent Quartz® fly-back chronograph movement designed in Pforzheim, Germany. The dial houses fan-shaped sub-dials at the 4 o'clock and 10 o'clock positions with yellow retrograde hands. A single press of the fly-back pusher instantly resets the chronograph to display the current time in the current lap without the need to stop and reset. This function can also be used in conjunction with the watch's tachymeter index to determine average speed, and when the chronograph isn’t in use, the upper sub-dial doubles as a second time zone indicator.

For attachments, it's offered with either a black or brown smooth-grain leather strap sourced from the Leather Working Group (LWG) or a stainless-steel bracelet, all of which are equipped with quick-release spring bars that require no tools.

Across the range, the Waterbury Ace draws inspiration from the pioneering aviators of the past while reflecting the reliability and craftsmanship that have defined Timex since 1854. From the distinctive pilot-style case to the functional, minimalist dial, every detail speaks to a legacy of practical design and American ingenuity. The result is a watch that honors aviation’s golden age while remaining firmly rooted in the needs of today.
Timeless, tailored, and ready for takeoff.
