Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. "Looks nice from a distance. But I expected more from a 250th Anniversary edition. Case edges and lugs are sharp, making it not as comfortable as I would like for prolonged wear. Strap doesn’t have a nice feel, if I decide to wear it besides today on the 4th, I will replace the strap with a higher quality blue leather aftermarket strap instead of the generic black that it came with."
