Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. Mineral crystals are still susceptible to scratches but less so than acrylic, however it is not possible to buff out these scratches as it is with acrylic. Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

I was initially drawn to it because of the Wednesday design, which I really enjoy. I have a large wrist and find the band fits comfortably on me with no adjustments, but this design does have the easy links to add and remove. The face of the watch displays the hour, minuet, and seconds as well as the date. It’s very easy to read and the instruction guide makes it very easy to set up."

If you’d prefer assistance, a jeweler can help adjust the band for you. Here’s a quick guide to adjust your Perfect Fit™ expansion band: 1. Place the watch on your wrist and estimate how many links need removal. 2. Locate the links in the center of the bracelet with the textured area. 3. Squeeze the textured part of the link opposite the one you want to remove. 4. While pressing down, pull the band apart to remove the link. 5. Repeat as needed for additional links. 6. Once done, press down on the textured part and insert the opposite end to reconnect the band. Your Perfect Fit™ expansion band should now be adjusted comfortably.
