Acrylic lens are a specialised form of plastic akin to Plexiglass and were commonly used in early to mid-20th century watches. It is a softer material that can be more prone to scratches but conversely is very shatter-resistant. Given its softness any scratches though can be buffed out. Acrylic lens are synonymous with vintage-inspired timepieces and thus can be found on our Marlin and Q Timex collections.

"I have a lot of watches, but my collection was not complete until I got this. I was in high school and college in the 80s. This useful timepiece looks as great now as the old ones did them. The steel case is the reason I chose this above all other digital, and the Indiglo is better than any other illumination (even on my "luxury" watches!) Perfect watch."
