Inside, it’s still powered by the same premium 9075 Miyota automatic ‘true’ GMT movement that allows you to adjust the local hour hand independently from the minute hand, letting you quickly change the main dial to the local time without moving any of the other hands or stopping the movement. And with the GMT index on both the reflector ring and the unidirectional ratcheting ceramic top ring, this watch makes it just as easy to track a third time zone. Thoughtful details like Super-LumiNova® in-fill on the hands and hour markers, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and 200m water resistance ensure it performs in any environment. - Hi- how do you use the GMT function if the time difference includes a 30 minute offset? For example, a time difference of 9.5 h from your ‘home’ time zone? And are the watches shipping now? Thank you.
- Hi Ashok! For GMT watches, the function is designed around whole-hour offsets, so unfortunately it doesn’t perfectly account for half-hour differences like 9.5 hours. In that case, you’ll need to set the GMT hand to the closest whole hour and mentally add the extra 30 minutes. - What is the best way to adjust the metal band size if the correct size is between the adding and removing one full link? It’s too tight but adding one link makes it slide around a bit-too loose.
- Hello SJ! That’s a very common sizing situation. If adding or removing a full link doesn’t give the right fit, the best option is to use the clasp’s micro-adjustment or have a jeweler fine-tune the sizing. This often provides the small adjustment needed when you’re between link sizes.
- On a previous question it was asked if the Bezel Roates, The answer was: "Yes, the watch features a uni-directional rotating top ring, perfect for tracking multiple time zones with ease." I do not believe this is the case, but I am happy to be wrong. To me, it looks like the interior rehaut has the 1-24 hour markers. The rotatable ring on top looks to be a standard Dive bezel, useful as a simple 1-hour timer. So, in this example it looks like this is a GMT with a Dive Bezel on it. Useful, but I do not see how that bezel could be used to track another time zone. Let me know if I am incorrect, and how I could read it the way you intended. Thank you.

The bezel here is a unidirectional ratcheting ceramic top ring, and together with the GMT index on both the reflector ring (rehaut) and the bezel, it can indeed be used to track a third time zone. So, while the bezel looks like a dive-style timer, Timex designed it with GMT markings as well, making it functional for timing and for referencing an additional zone.
