Acrylic lens are a specialised form of plastic akin to Plexiglass and were commonly used in early to mid-20th century watches. It is a softer material that can be more prone to scratches but conversely is very shatter-resistant. Given its softness any scratches though can be buffed out. Acrylic lens are synonymous with vintage-inspired timepieces and thus can be found on our Marlin and Q Timex collections.

"I love the vintage Timex reissues. I’ve bought two and I wear them all the time. This is a very cool looking watch. My only cavil is that the green is not as intense as it looks in the pictures. It’s a more metallic green that fades in the light. But I love the look and design and will continue collecting the vintage reissues."
