Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. Mineral crystals are still susceptible to scratches but less so than acrylic, however it is not possible to buff out these scratches as it is with acrylic. Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

- Can I order 2 replacement watchbands like the band featured on this watch? I like the band, it is comfortable but it is getting worn out and sweat stained.

However, we do offer a variety of replacement straps that you can choose from, as long as they have the same lug width and compatible lug ends. - This is a cool idea for a watch but the placement of the Snoopy figure is such that the hands originate from his neck. I would buy it but I know that every time I'd look at it, it would bother me the same way. It's different with a central figure whose arms act as the watch's hands. Even offsetting Snoopy a bit lower or to one side would avoid the watch hands cutting off the figure's neck - is this something you might take into account for future designs?
