Enhanced durability
Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. Mineral crystals are still susceptible to scratches but less so than acrylic, however it is not possible to buff out these scratches as it is with acrylic. Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

"A great time piece of captures attention very comfortable band and the only reason I’m giving it four stars is because the POS system or online ordering system is outdated. They don’t give you PayPal as an option and the billing and the shipping address. Automatically the same, which creates confusion and they won’t let you change your address to the correct one after the order you have to contact the shipper and then when you get angry and send an email they won’t let you know via email that you can contact FedEx or UPS whoever the shipper is to correct that situation haven’t sent to one of their drop offs so mostly frustrating. Great product all the same."
