Fantastic watch! Especially for the

"Fantastic watch! Especially for the money. The appearance of this watch is on par with much more expensive field/pilot chronographs. It looks way better in person than the stock photos. The size is perfect for my 7" wrist, and the casework and lug shape look great. There is not a second hand. The second hand is actually the tachometer hand. But being a quartz watch this does not bother me at all. The strap it comes with is very good IMO. And I like the color. And because the supplied strap is quick release, you can swap straps easily. I added a ventage looking black leather strap with white stitching and it looks really good IMO. I have more expensive watches, but this one is in my regular rotation. Great job Timex! Please make this MK1 watch with a blue dial and I'll buy it!"

Which is the second hand? I started the watch but there’s no consistently moving second hand: Hi Joanna! Thanks so much for your question. On the MK1 Chronograph 40mm Leather Strap Watch, the center second hand is used for the chronograph (stopwatch) function, so it will only move when the chronograph is activated. This is why you may not see a continuously moving second hand during normal timekeeping.

On the MK1 Chronograph 40mm Leather Strap Watch, the left subdial (marked 60, 40, 20) tracks the elapsed minutes for the chronograph.
