Our Marlin Quartz Chronograph Tachymeter was the first chronograph to join our Marlin line, as well as the first Marlin powered by a quartz movement. Beautifully detailed, it features a tachymeter index along its outer minute track to measure speed, as well as a unique date window placement and gorgeous gold-tone accents on its blue dial. Paired with either an eco-friendly natural leather strap sourced from the Leather Working Group (LWG) with quick-release spring bars....

Beautifully detailed, it features a tachymeter index along its outer minute track to measure speed, as well as a unique date window placement and gorgeous gold-tone accents on its blue dial. Paired with either an eco-friendly natural leather strap sourced from the Leather Working Group (LWG) with quick-release spring bars. Though its build broke new ground in our watchmaking heritage, this timepiece retains the classic Marlin features with a sturdy 40mm stainless-steel case, domed acrylic crystal, and retro-style applied indices at 3, 9, and 12 o'clock.

Acrylic lens are a specialised form of plastic akin to Plexiglass and were commonly used in early to mid-20th century watches. It is a softer material that can be more prone to scratches but conversely is very shatter-resistant. Given its softness any scratches though can be buffed out. Acrylic lens are synonymous with vintage-inspired timepieces and thus can be found on our Marlin and Q Timex collections.

If you’re looking for a chronograph with Indiglo, we recommend the Expedition Field Chronograph 43mm Leather Watch, which combines rugged styling with the convenience of a backlight. While the Marlin collection offers beautiful vintage‑inspired designs, it does not feature Indiglo.
