Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

- If the watch is water resistant to 100m, why can’t this be used for scuba diving? The deepest recreational dives are about 130 feet and this watch is capable of going to 328 feet. The manual says to not push the buttons while underwater to maintain water resistance, so I’m just wondering what prevents this from being a dive watch? Does it have to do with salt water? Or is it just likely that a button could be pressed inadvertently while scuba diving?
