"I am a Timex fan. I am very impressed at how they have rejuvenated the brand over the past decade. Timex is now offering a number of interesting slants on the classic field watch pattern. I have a Timex Mk1, and this Capstone is another variation on the theme. Beefier than the Mk1, with a somewhat quieter movement. I prefer a one-piece strap, but the two-piece on the Capstone is made of impressively hefty webbing, and is very comfortable. The lume is adequate. When you purchase one of these Timex watches during their periodic 20-30% discount sales, I think they represent one of the best watch values out there. That said, I would like to see more American sourcing and assembly in the future (I own a U. S. -assembled Timex American Documents watch, and love it)."
