Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. "I love timex watches and the Royals so when I found this watch I bought it immediately off the website. When I got the watch it would not work. The second hand would not go past the #7. I go through the process of mailing it back but was told that I would get voucher to get another one instead of Timex just mailing me another watch. My voucher is less than what I paid because of shipping I guess."
