Originally unleashed onto the scene in 1983, the Timex E Line made its mark with a rounded square case that earned an affectionate nickname: the “TV Dial.” More than four decades later, that distinctive shape is back with fresh proportions and new dial treatments.
Meet the latest E Line offerings, inspired by the 1983 original: a 38mm automatic and a smaller 30mm quartz, each carrying the character of the original into the present.
38mm Automatic: BOLD NEW CASE. SAME CLASSIC SHAPE.
The 38mm Timex Automatic E Line gives the original silhouette a more substantial presence on the wrist.
Its stainless-steel case frames a horizontally textured dial, available in silver-tone and teal. A vintage-style flat mineral glass crystal keeps the profile clean, while applied hour markers, a simple printed minute track, and a date window at 3 o’clock bring considered detail to the dial.
A brushed stainless-steel bracelet finishes the design, complete with a butterfly clasp that creates a seamless look on the wrist. And while the shape looks back to 1983, what’s ticking inside gives you another reason to keep it in rotation.

38mm Automatic: POWERED BY YOU
Inside the 38mm E Line is a self-winding Miyota caliber 8215 Japanese automatic movement with 21 jewels. Rather than relying on a battery, the movement harnesses the natural motion of your wrist to keep running and can store up to 40 hours of energy. Turn the watch over and an exhibition window in the case back offers a view of the movement at work.

30mm Quartz: NEW SIZE. SAME CLASSIC SHAPE.
For a smaller expression of the E Line, the new 30mm quartz models take the same rounded square silhouette in a different direction.
The compact stainless-steel case is paired with a lustrous sunray dial in pink or champagne, bringing a subtle shift in character as it catches the light. Applied hour markers, a simple printed minute track, and a vintage-style flat mineral glass crystal keep the design sleek and clean.
A brushed and polished stainless-steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp completes the smooth profile, while a reliable quartz movement keeps things simple.

ONE ICONIC SHAPE. TWO DISTINCT TAKES.
Automatic or quartz. 38mm or 30mm. Textured or sunray.
The newest reissue-inspired E Line offerings give an unmistakable Timex design from 1983 room to take on a new life. Each keeps the rounded square case at the center of the story, with thoughtful details that make the shape feel right at home today.
Because good design doesn’t need to shout to get your attention.
Sometimes, it just needs the right time to return.
