Our new Timex Deepwater Meridian 200 HEV Automatic is built for that world, bringing purpose-driven engineering together with the robust construction and precise details that define our Deepwater collection.

Available with a silver-white dial and stainless-steel bracelet or a metallic blue dial and HNBR synthetic rubber strap, both 44mm watches are equipped with the features to venture deeper, from 200m water resistance and an automatic helium escape valve to a sapphire crystal and Super-LumiNova® visibility.

Built To Descend

Built to be as rugged as the conditions its made for, a screw-down crown and screw-on case back reinforce the watch's water resistance, while a sturdy crown protector adds another purposeful detail to its dive-style design. Meanwhile, a unidirectional ratcheting top ring with a ceramic inlay can be used to track elapsed time beneath the waves.

Pressure Has An Escape Route

Positioned beside 10 o’clock, the automatic helium escape valve is a traditional feature of professional dive watches designed to release built-up helium during decompression. Its function is rooted in deep-sea performance, where trapped helium needs a way out as pressure changes. On the Meridian 200 HEV, that specialized piece of engineering also gives the case its unmistakably purpose-built character.

Inside, a Miyota 8215 21-jewel Japanese automatic movement turns everyday motion into energy, storing up to 40 hours of power.

There’s no battery driving the movement. Wear the watch and your motion keeps it going. If it remains motionless for more than 40 hours, simply wind it using the crown until you feel resistance, or put it back on and let your movement bring it back to life.

Visibility Below The Surface

Visibility matters when the light starts to disappear. The Meridian 200 HEV pairs an anti-reflective sapphire crystal with Super-LumiNova® in-fill on the hands and hour markers, helping deliver clear readings as you venture below. Vertical brushing adds depth and texture to both dial options, whether you choose the silver-white or metallic blue finish.

Two Ways To Wear It

The silver-white dial model is finished with a tarnish-free stainless-steel bracelet, giving the watch a clean, substantial presence on the wrist. For a sportier alternative, the metallic blue dial model comes on a flexible, perforated HNBR synthetic rubber strap designed for comfort in and out of the water. Both attachments feature quick-release spring bars, making it easy to change the look without tools.
