Quite The Catch
J.Crew and Timex come back together to introduce the Timex MK1 for J.Crew, a reinterpretation of one of our most enduring military-inspired watches. Rooted in a shared Americana heritage and shaped by a distinct point of view, it marks the first collaboration between the two American brands in over a decade, bringing together Timex’s legacy of precision craftsmanship with J.Crew’s enduring take on American style. Inspired by a spirit of optimism, utility, and ease, the result is a piece that feels both familiar and freshly considered.

Made To Be Worn Often & Well
The Timex MK1 for J.Crew reimagines one of our most enduring military-inspired watches through a shared lens of classic American style and everyday practicality.
Swimming across the clean white dial is a small brook trout, drawn from an original watercolor by J.Crew’s in-house artist and avid angler. The detail is unexpected, slightly irreverent, and entirely deliberate, because the best design does not need explaining. It is not a fishing watch or a diving watch. It is simply a watch with a fish on it. Encircling the dial are crisp Arabic numerals and a printed rail track for easy reading.

Crafted of tarnish-free stainless steel, the brushed gold-tone case ensures your watch remains as fresh as day one. Flip the watch over, and the case back is finished with an engraving of the J.Crew logo.
Crafted from supple natural leather, the braided strap softens with wear and features quick-release spring bars for easy changes. Designed without fixed holes, it can be fastened anywhere along the braid, offering a more customized fit.

Built on Heritage, Finished with Character
Built for everyday wear, the MK1 balances polish and utility. It is designed to move easily between moments, whether worn casually or with intention. Personal without feeling precious, it reflects the idea that the best pieces are the ones you return to again and again.
The campaign, photographed by Sam Nicklin, draws from faux retro advertising, blending nostalgia with a modern sensibility. Each image captures the rhythm of daily rituals, from breakfast tables to quiet games to time spent outdoors, reinforcing the watch as part of a life well lived.
