"I bought this watch because I like the retro-futuristic look of it. I was surprised that it did not come with a manual, but that's what the internet is for. Then I tried to set the date and time, and could not get the button on the left to depress. I was so annoyed that I decided to return it. But then I had my husband and teen try to set the time. My teen figured out that the left side button depresses if the flat part of the button is turned. She was able to set the date and time. Then I had my husband take some if the links out of the band so it fit. It ended up taking both of us to get the links out and the bracelet back together. This is the first watch I've owned that has required 3 people to get it to work and fit correctly."

If there is any complaint , it'd be the feel and operation of the clasp mechanism, which feels clunky and will not lock without pinching the releases"

"I love the SSQ. It looks fantastic, works like a charm, and is the perfect blend of futuristic\retro that tickles my brain. I especially appreciate the simplicity of it. I sometimes get frustrated with digital watches because I'll stick my hands in my pocket and then I have to spend 5 minutes trying to cycle it back to the time. The adjust button notch mechanism threw me for a loop, and I had to Google it. But it's a brilliant idea. My only complaint infact is that the way to set it wasn't written down somewhere. Maybe it usually is and mine just got missed? Either way, once I figured it out it became an instant favorite. Almost impossible to accidentally reset and it's just 2 buttons. It's a fantastic watch."

- Fantastic watch but zero useful directions in the box or online. How does one open up the strap so links can be removed? I can't get a tool in when the strap is still in its loop. A little more detail and context would be greatly appreciated.
- Hi Matt! To adjust the strap on your watch, follow these steps: FOLDOVER CLASP BRACELET 1. Find spring bar that connects bracelet to clasp 2. Using a pointed tool, push in spring bar and gently twist bracelet to disengage 3. Determine wrist size, then insert spring bar in correct bottom hole 4. Push down on spring bar, align with top hole and release to lock in place BRACELET LINK REMOVAL REMOVING LINKS: 1. Place bracelet upright and insert pointed tool in opening of link. 2. Push pin forcefully in direction of arrow until link is detached (pins are designed to be difficult to remove). 3. Repeat until desired number of links are removed. RE-ASSEMBLY: 1. Rejoin bracelet parts. 2. Push pin back into link in opposite direction of arrow. 3. Press pin down securely into bracelet until it is flush.
