The movement also boasts a 40-hour power reserve, ensuring reliable performance throughout your day. On the clean dial, luminant hands and markers make it easier to read the time when the lights are low. Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. Mineral crystals are still susceptible to scratches but less so than acrylic, however it is not possible to buff out these scratches as it is with acrylic. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

I really love the Draper
"I really love the Draper automatic! It fits wonderfully well, and looks spectacular. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that the luminescence on the hands and dial lasts for a frustratingly short period of time (minutes at most). In the advertising the luminescence is prominently displayed, but in reality it is barely there (enjoy it while it lasts). I contacted customer service already, and I was informed that it is how it should be (apparently not uncommon issue for Timex). They offered a refund, but the watch, even with this issue, is too nice to let go of. A keeper for sure!"
