Acrylic lens are a specialised form of plastic akin to Plexiglass and were commonly used in early to mid-20th century watches. It is a softer material that can be more prone to scratches but conversely is very shatter-resistant. Given its softness any scratches though can be buffed out. Acrylic lens are synonymous with vintage-inspired timepieces and thus can be found on our Marlin and Q Timex collections.

"Watch is beautiful but the leather is okish because it started coming off from the sides in just 2 days. + is that it is budget friendly and has a very good dial but it has acrylic glass which is more prone to scratches. I would recommend to spend more money and get waterbury or deepwater."

"5 Stars — Swings Way Outside Its Weight Class I've been building a smart-casual wardrobe for a while now and had a specific gap — something with a blue dial, enough presence to wear with chinos and loafers, but not so precious that it couldn't be an everyday piece. This Timex filled that hole perfectly. The blue sunburst dial is the star. Depending on the light it reads deep navy or shifts to something almost metallic — it has more visual depth than watches three times the price. The chronograph subdials are clean and well-proportioned, and the tachymeter ring gives it just enough sportiness without tipping into gym-watch territory. The tan perforated rally strap that came with it surprised me most. The warm tobacco leather against the cool blue dial creates a contrast that just works — and it pairs beautifully with brown suede loafers and casual denim. It feels like a combination a much more expensive watch would charge you extra for. At this price point you're not getting a sapphire crystal or a Swiss movement. What you are getting is honest design, real versatility, and a piece that earns compliments from people who know watches and people who don't. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a blue-dial daily wearer that doesn't break the bank but doesn't look like it either."
