"The hour hands do not line up correctly at the top of the hour, both watches are slightly crooked to the dial marker. It's not the end of the world in the $150ish category but I expected better QC from a brand like Timex."

A toughened glass made from silica that's heat- and scratch-resistant, offering clear visibility and solid everyday durability.
Mineral Glass
Enhanced durability
Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. Mineral crystals are still susceptible to scratches but less so than acrylic, however it is not possible to buff out these scratches as it is with acrylic. Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

The indiglo Ravenclaw light could be brighter as you can't see it with minimal light showing, but then you probably don't need it if trying to tell the time, but I like to show that feature to others so it can be difficult to see. The leather band is soft and for 39mm dial you would think it would be big but the lugs and bezel are small so it gives it a classier look as well."
