Sapphire Crystal
Nearly impossible to scratch, the sapphire crystal lens is as hard and clear as a gemstone. There are only a few materials known to the world that can scratch it.
Sapphire Crystal
Scratch-resistant
Sapphire is the hardest crystal available. Given its hardness it is near impossible to scratch, however, it can be prone to shattering if subjected to a heavy impact. Its scratch resistance is very desirable and as such there is a higher cost to sapphire versus other crystals.

Reviews
I really love this watch.
"I really love this watch. Very nice looks and quality for the price. The rubber band is very cool too the way it tucks inside itself for the tag end. However, that style and the type of rubber used makes it difficult to remove. There is a lot of friction between the rubber pieces that slide along each other. I think a more “slick” coating on the rubber would solve this issue. Other than that, it’s a great watch."

I really like this watch!
"I really like this watch! The design and color combinations look great in my opinion. Accuracy is excellent. I have mixed feelings regarding the cyclops window, but getting used to it. One big dislike is the band. Very difficult to tuck and untuck. Already ordered a new one. A minor disappointment-I was hoping to receive the newer version with the red diver emblem but I got the one without. Overall, very pleased with this Timex."

Almost amazing! Liked the watch,
"Almost amazing! Liked the watch, but the bezel feels/reads smaller than 41, the numbers appear small and cramped. Need to be a tad larger. Also if buy it because of the dive flag then be warned that isn’t actually on there. Love everything about it, just not quite what I like in a watch."
— Matthew H. (4/5)
The watch is amazing and
"The watch is amazing and looks great. I'm actually wearing it right now and giving a few of my other watches a break. The only real critique I have is that the band is very difficult to use. The band is functional and I like that the excess part of the band is tucked away, but it's very difficult to put the watch on and to take the watch off. I have ordered a different band due to the difficulty involved."
— Kevin C. (4/5)
This is a great watch,
"This is a great watch, Looks good, fits well, light weight, GMT works. For the money this is the perfect watch."
— Erik B. (5/5)
Very pleased with this purchase.
"Very pleased with this purchase. Watch feels very solid built and like it hits way above its pay grade as the look and feel is more high-end timepiece. So far keeping great time. Just not a fan of the default strap. The end tab tuck like an Apple Watch strap doesn’t really work well with a buckle. I immediately slapped this watch onto a NATO strap and it looks great!"
— Neal R. (5/5)

"Great looking watch. I get a lot of compliments with this one. However, the luminous markers on the hands and dial face do not hold a charge and are worthless."
— Christopher S. (4/5)

"Luv the watch but the band is absolutely Horrible. You must change the design so you can take it on and off without struggling."
— Chris W. (3/5)
Handsome watch that is great
"Handsome watch that is great for traveling and sport. The colors are understated and the case polish pops. Looks amazing with different color straps. Highly recommend."

What is the little red hand with the white pointer used for?
Hi Bernard! Great eye for detail! The little red hand with a white pointer on the Deepwater Reef 200 GMT 41mm watch is the GMT hand. It allows you to track a second time zone—perfect for travel or coordinating with friends or family in another region. Let us know if you’d like help with how to set it!
Can the hour hand be reset to a new time zone, and the watch keeps running, to maintain accuracy, and the home, reference time is unaffected-?
Hi Mike! For the Deepwater Reef 200 GMT 41mm Synthetic Rubber Strap Watch, the hour hand can be adjusted independently to set a new time zone while the watch continues to run, ensuring that the home/reference time remains unaffected. It’s a useful feature for frequent travelers!
